The Brisbane Queer Film Festival curated by Shannon King celebrates its 17th year this February 18-28 at New Farm Cinemas, sharing some fascinating Asia Pacific content such as Australian documentary Remembering The Man based on the couple behind Holding The Man, Joshua Kim’s 2015 Berlinale premiere Thai drama, How To Win At Checkers (Every Time), and the new Peter Greenaway performance, with his portrait of Russian director Sergei Eisenstein, revered as one of cinema’s founding fathers, in the sexy glitter bomb film Eisenstein In Guanajuato.
Thanks to our friends at Brisbane Powerhouse, we have three double passes to be won for each of these films.
