Refunds will only be offered in the event of a session being cancelled or other reasons as stated in the LPA Code of Practice for Event Ticketing.
Any unused tickets, vouchers or sessions on a pass will be forfeited at the end of BAPFF 2016 (4 December)
By submitting your order, you are indicating that you have read and accept the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival (BAPFF) Terms and Conditions. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification.
Bookings may only be collected by the credit card holder on presentation of the credit card used for the booking, the booking number, and any relevant concessions.
All sessions are general admission only. To guarantee a good seat, please arrive early.
BAPFF reserves the right to deny any person admission to any festival managed venues.
BAPFF accepts a range of concessions to help keep the festival accessible to all. We offer concession tickets on events (where listed) to full-time students, pensioners, healthcare card holders and seniors. We also offer concessions to the following industry groups: MEAA, SPAA, ACS, ADG, AWG and ASE. A current ID, if requested, must be shown on request.
A valid Companion Card must be produced at the time of the booking to gain access to the Companion Card Scheme offer. Details of use are contained on the Companion Card website www.companioncard.org.au
The use of cameras and other recording devices during BAPFF sessions constitutes a breach of copyright and is strictly prohibited. Any person caught in the act of filming a festival session will be immediately expelled, and the pirated material will be seized. Such persons may be subject to legal action.
Latecomers may not be admitted to a session. If there is a short film screening before the feature, latecomers will be admitted once the short film has finished. There are no exchanges or refunds if patrons arrive late to a session.
All persons seeking admittance to attend an event or session must have a valid ticket.
All film classifications are indicated with each film. The majority of BAPFF films are unclassified. Unless otherwise indicated, the age recommendation for these unclassified films are 15+ or 18+. In accordance with Australian Classification Regulations, films listed as “unclassified 15+” are restricted to persons aged 15 and over unless accompanied by an adult; films listed as “unclassified 18+” are restricted to persons aged 18 or over. Please check individual film classification details before purchasing your tickets. Proof of age must be shown upon request at time of booking and/or upon entry to cinema.
Session changes or cancellations:
Particulars of the session or event may be changed without prior notice. Films, artists or performers may be added, withdrawn or substituted for specific performances or sessions.
In the case of a cancelled film, BAPFF will offer a refund or exchange on single tickets. For bookings made on a pass, we will return the booking onto your pass to allow you to book another film. Passes will not be refunded in full or part based on a film change. BAPFF will endeavour to contact patrons via email or phone in advance when these types of changes occur however this may not always be possible.
BAPFF reserves the right to change the film format if necessary but will notify customers where possible, and offer an exchange if the new format is of lesser quality.
