How do I buy tickets?

  • Tickets can be purchased on our website or phone app with a valid credit/debit card or in person at the venue Box Offices when films are in session.
  • Box Offices open at each venue 1 hour prior to the first BAPFF screening of the day and close 15 minutes after the last session of the evening has started.
  • You can also book over the phone by calling 07 3156 6347.
  • Accepted cards are VISA, Mastercard and valid Debit cards.
  • You will be required to create an account to make a purchase.

How do I get my tickets?

  • If purchased online or by phone you will receive an email confirmation and a PDF of your tickets. You can choose to print them out or use your smartphone to have the tickets scanned when entering the cinema. Alternatively please quote your booking number and name to the Box Office staff. You may be asked to provide identification to confirm your booking.
  • We do not post any tickets in the mail.

Who can get a concession?

  • Concessions are available for pensioners, seniors, unemployed, full time students and various industry members. Please check with staff prior to booking. Valid proof of concession must be shown upon request.

How do I book if I have access requirements?

  • Please call 07 3156 6347 and we will assist with your booking. You can buy tickets at the door but please be aware that appropriate seating is subject to availability. These bookings cannot be made online.

What is a Take 6 or Take 10?

  • A Take 6 or 10 pass is a bulk purchase of tickets at a discounted price and is available in 6 or 10 sessions. Once the pass has been processed you are issued with a serial number and you can then book sessions when ready.
  • You can redeem your sessions in person, online, via the app or by phone.
  • The passes are transferable which means you can book more than 1 ticket to each film. Take 1 friend or take more!

How do I purchase with a Promotional Code?

  • Once you have chosen the session, go to the bottom of the pricing information, click ENTER PROMOTIONAL CODE and enter your code.
  • Put the ticket quantity in the box to the left and ADD TO CART. Do not put a quantity against a price point in the section above. Continue with bookings and checkout.

I lost my ticket!

  • We do not replace lost or stolen tickets.
  • Tickets that produce duplicate scans will result in refusal of entry.
  • If you lose your pass number, please check your account online or ask at the box office.

Can I exchange my ticket?

  • Yes. We offer exchanges, subject to availability, for a fee of $2 per booking – not per ticket.
  • Exchanges can be made up to 2 hours prior to the session that you will not be attending.
  • Any requests after the session has commenced will be denied.
  • Exchanges can be made online, via the app, over the phone or in person.
  • Special events and galas are ineligible for exchange.

Please note: If you are exchanging with a Take 6 or 10 pass that is fully booked, you must complete the transaction to remove the session first. Then you can go ahead and book a new session or leave it for another time.

Can I get a refund?

  • All sales are final and you are required to read and accept the terms and conditions of the sale prior to submission.
  • We do not offer refunds if you are sick or running late.
  • Refunds will only be offered in the event of a session being cancelled or other reasons as stated in the LPA Code of Practice for Event Ticketing.
  • Any unused tickets or sessions on a pass will be forfeited at the end of BAPFF 2016 (4 December).

I didn’t receive a confirmation

  • Please check your junk folder.
  • Log into your BAPFF account and check your booking history. If you do not have any transactions here, your booking was unsuccessful.

My session timed out or my computer froze

  • Your booking was most likely unsuccessful however we recommend you check your bank account first before trying to book again.
  • Refunds will not be granted for double bookings.

It says SOLD OUT but is it really?

  • Yes, BUT as we have an exchange system in place, tickets may become available at any time. We recommend checking online or at the Box Office.
  • We do not have waiting lists.

I don’t have my own credit card

  • If you use someone else’s credit card for purchasing you will need a letter of authorisation from the credit card holder to say you can collect the tickets.
  • The letter must contain the credit card holder’s name and a photocopy of their identification.
  • Your name must be mentioned in the letter and you will also need to provide identification.
