Drawn by wanderlust to sunnier climes, pulled by the promise of distant shores, Bruno, Jean-Francois, David and the others quit France many years ago and can never go back. It’s been a harsh journey of disillusionment and disappointment, as they struggle to find work, or battle addictions to alcohol and drugs. Some are rudderless, some chase the dream of being one with nature, others are hopelessly broken. These are the stories of the lost, the drifters, the wild ones.
