Several APSA-nominated feature films which were presented at the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival have been successful in achieving nominations in this year’s 88th Academy Awards. We congratulate the filmmakers and wish them the best of luck.
Documentary (Feature)
The Look of Silence (Indonesia, Denmark, Norway, Finland, United Kingdom) nominated for APSA 2015 Best Documentary Feature Film and screened at last year’s 2nd BAPFF.
Foreign Language Film
Mustang (Turkey, Qatar, France, Germany) nominated for APSA 2015 Best Youth Feature Film and screened at last year’s 2nd BAPFF; Theeb (Jordan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom) nominated for APSA 2014 Best Youth Feature Film and screened during the inaugural BAPFF in 2014.
